Flying can be challenging, gruelling, exhausting, and sometimes even downright boring. Once in a while, however, a trip comes up that makes it all worth it. Flying to Turks over the winter holidays was one of those trips for me. The mission originated with a positioning flight to Vermont and then onwards to Turks with a tech stop in Savanna, GA.
I got to spend a week in this Paradise, so I flew my family in on an airline and we had a great little “workcation”.

Mission route that would take just under 8 hours block to complete.

Waiting for a fuel truck in Burlington, VT. Shout out to Heritage FBO - one of my all-time favourites, and they have CAA fuel!

Can you guess the east-coast US city we're (nearly) flying over?

Approaching Top of Descent for Provo

Spectacular waters of the Caribbean

Can you spot the airport? This was taken on departure out of Provo.

While at PLS, I had to make a "quick hop" to Nassau to pick up a passenger and bring them back to Provo. Nassau was a complete mess.

Got tucked under an Airbus ACJ in Nassau

This Virgin spent at least 40 minutes waiting for a gate. Not untypical for Nassau.

Almost broke my rental car getting here, but the privacy of this "secret" beach was worth it!

Last night in paradise

Trying to set a ground speed record north-eastbound in the winter.
